Product Description
881170A15 Outboard Remote Control Box
The side mount remote control box 881170A15 with 8 pin 15ft harness. It has a new design, which includes soft grip and power trim leads for front mount switch.
Smooth Forward & Reverse
To shift into forward and reverse, rotate the control lever downward about 35°to the F side and R side, respectively. When the control lever is further rotated downward, the throttle opens.
Emergency Cord & Clip
The cord can secure the operation by being attached to operator's clothing, or arm, or leg. Should operators fall down or leave the helm, the cord will pull out the clip, stopping ignition.
Power Trim & Tilt Switch
The power trim and tilt switch is attached to the control lever grip. Pushing it UP trims up and tilts up the engine and pushing it DOWN trims down and tilts down the engine.
Durable Control Cable
A handle mounted trim switch and a 15' harness with 8 pin deutshe connector. For non-power trim models.
Dual Function Use
The remote control box is so designed that both shift and throttle can be actuated by operating a remote control lever. So it is convenient for you for sure.
For Mercury
Suit for all current Mercury/Mariner outboards with integral power trim.

Control with built in hot horn and tachometer/gauge harness. This is the non power trim model. There is no trim switch on this control box.
881170A3 Remote Control 4000 | Electric Start | Side Mount | No Power Trim
This control can be mounted starboard or port side and is stackable. Offers "push to choke" ignition switch, 8 pin connector wiring harness, lanyard stop switch, separate neutral warm‑up lever and requires Gen I throttle and shift cables. 5 pin accessory plug for tachometer and an adjustable throttle friction. Not for use with engines that have counter rotating lower units. Older engines may require an adapter harness.
This control features a non‑power trim handle, 15 ft.(4.58 m) harness and built‑in warning horn.
Fits all current Mercury/Mariner Outboards 6 HP and above (without power trim) and 1993 and newer Force Outboards 40 HP and higher utilizing Mercury style cables (with power trim).
For Model year 2005 and newer 8/9.9 FourStroke Outboards SAE throttle/shift cables must be used.
For 8/9.9 FourStroke engines generation change above serial number OR192772 and 15/20 FourStroke engines will use GEN I cables.
When used with a model year 2005 and newer 8/9.9, 15/20 FourStroke Outboards, an Adapter harness is required.

If the pressure is too high during the lifting of your boat, this part will be ejected or broken, and the excessive pressure inside the cylinder will be discharged.
