When i first saw the results of this test i was convinced that the Yamaha 2 stroke would outperform the Honda 4 stroke, especially when looking at the holeshot/low down acceleration data. However, i was very surprised when i looked at the 0-10knots testing data! During this test the Honda 4 stroke was 12% FASTER than the Yamaha 2 stroke!! The only thing that i can think of that could explain these results is BLAST, which all modern manufacturers now have some sort of technology similar to nitrous oxide which is supposedly designed to make their engines run faster and more efficiently. This would be interesting to retest with an engine that does not have BLAST!!!
