There is no trim switch on this control box. 881170A3 Remote Control 4000 | Electric Start | Side Mount | No Power Trim This control can be mounted starboard or port side and is stackable. Offers "push to choke" ignition switch, 8 pin connector wiring harness, lanyard stop switch, separate neutral warm‑up lever and requires Gen I throttle and shift cables. 5 pin accessory plug for tachometer and an adjustable throttle friction. Not for use with engines that have counter rotating lower units. Older engines may require an adapter harness. This control features a non‑power trim handle, 15 ft.(4.58 m) harness and built‑in warning horn. Fits all current Mercury/Mariner Outboards 6 HP and above (without power trim) and 1993 and newer Force Outboards 40 HP and higher utilizing Mercury style cables (with power trim). For Model year 2005 and newer 8/9.9 FourStroke Outboards SAE throttle/shift cables must be used.
